Value resorts are highly themed and the most economical. One unique feature is that guests tend to decorate their windows during their stay which can add to the fun! If you plan on utilizing Disney transportation, some resorts have Skyliner access to EPCOT, Hollywood Studios & Disney’s Boardwalk.

Moderate Resorts
Moderate resorts are where you begin to see more subtle theming in terms of Disney characters, though you will still find bountiful touches throughout. There are some additional differences moving into the moderate resort tier, including the addition of on-site table service dining. If you plan on utilizing Disney transportation, some resorts have Skyliner access to EPCOT & Hollywood Studios, and others offer Boat service to Disney Springs.

Deluxe Resorts
Deluxe resorts are where you will find deeply immersive theming and service similar to most non-Disney 4-star resorts. These resorts also offer expanded dining options, with most having highly-desirable restaurants. This can make for tough-to-get reservations if you like to stay close to home as well as potentially busier resorts during popular meal times. Nearly all Deluxe resorts offer some type of complimentary transportation in addition to bus transportation with the one exception being Animal Kingdom Lodge.
